Who I am...

I’m Alessandra. I was born in 1982 and I’m currently living in Esino Lario, a small village close to the Lake of Como.

I’m French-Italian and I speak both languages like a native, having spent part of my childhood in France with my French family.

I graduated in 2005 in Languages and Communication iat Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan with honours of 110 with honors.

I’ve started being a translator and interpreter while still studying at University, working for firms and as stand assistant for international events.

After finishing university I moved for two years in the UK as I wanted to teach Italian and French one to one and to groups as well.

When I moved back to Italy, I’ve started my individual business as freelance teacher, translator and interpreter. I’ve firstly continued with all my students from UK, using video or audio calls. Since then I’ve started working with online schools and teachers’ platforms.

Through all these activities I have organized the course materials that includes various topics and is divided into different levels of difficulty.

“If you talk to a man in a language he understand, that goes to his head. If you talk to him on his own languages, that goes to his heart”. (Nelson Mandela)

Nice to meet You...

Welcome!!!

Un très très bon professeur!!!
I've been knowing Ale since 2010. Like her, I'm half French. But I was unlucky not to learn it as I child. Ale helped me a lot first with pronunciation and grammar, and then audio CDs, films and songs.I was a total beginner.
I have now an advanced level, and I was SO HAPPY to be able to speak with distant relatives when I visited last summer. we had interesting classes both online and offline(In 2014 I drove to her office, a very cosy place near the lake of Como) and I spent a week end there with studying with Ale. She recommenced a very nice flat I rented close to her office.
I'm now thinking of trying the DELF, and ask for my french nationality. I'll obviously need more help from Ale. I wouldn't be able to have French lessons with anyone else. Just hearing her voice makes me calm and confident! She's
such a happy and prepared teacher, with a lot of subjects of conversation as well!
Alors Ale, à la prochaine! MERCI
JEAN de Milan
